New Year, New Habits
  -  Painting   -  New Year, New Habits

Time to get back to some semblance of routine… In recent days I’ve been trawling through images on my phone and on my laptop, trying to do a spring clean. It’s as difficult for me to keep documents tidy as it is to keep the house and studio in order. If there’s a new year’s resolution at all, it is to attempt to organise at least some aspects of my life. Unfortunately that requires ongoing commitment.

My studio space is too small. I am too untidy. I don’t always have the energy to deal with things. There are not enough hours in the day… There, I’ve listed some of the problems.

Now for solutions. I need to sort stuff in the studio. A year ago, it was clear space. I must try to put things back where I took them from – if where I took them from is where they should be! If I don’t have the energy to do the full task, then let me at least try to do one part of it. A start is always good. Finally, tomorrow is another day, and big tasks can be accomplished by taking little steps regularly.

May 2021 bring a dedicated approach to accomplishing small steps to lead to big things…
